Meowofjen is a licensed cattery in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, focused on Ragdoll, British Shorthair, British Longhair, Munchkin, Minuet and American Shorthair. Our team follows each kitten from daily care and socialisation through health records, household matching and aftercare.
We focus on Ragdoll, British Shorthair, British Longhair, Munchkin, Minuet and American Shorthair. Every kitten has their own personality, development and health record, so we do not treat every kitten as if they were the same.

OUR STORY
It starts with breeding,

Meowofjen was founded in Hong Kong. From the beginning, we have believed that what matters is not simply how beautiful a kitten looks in a photo, but the environment they grow up in, the human interaction they experience, the health information that is properly recorded, and whether they ultimately join a home that suits them.
That is why we stay involved from pedigree planning and pregnancy care through kitten development and gradual exposure to household sounds, grooming, handling, play and other cats. Appearance is one part of a breed; temperament, health, adaptability and household fit are what you live with every day.
We later extended that support to our homecoming guide, Mewday, Grooming, Cat Hotel and Desex & Stay. Not because every family needs every service, but so you do not have to start from zero with a completely unfamiliar arrangement when you genuinely need support.
Cat Always Comes First. For us, it is not just a slogan. It is the starting point for decisions about matching, handover arrangements, health records and continued support.

Licensing and registration should be information you can verify directly.
These do not replace health, socialisation or aftercare. They are basic information a responsible cattery should be able to show clearly. You are welcome to review the relevant documents when you visit rather than relying on a website claim alone.
THE MEOWOFJEN STANDARD
Licensing and registration are only the basics.
What matters after a kitten comes home is how they lived before, whether their health history is clearly documented, whether the household was considered during matching, and whether support continues afterwards.

Socialisation
Socialisation is not something we rush just before pickup. As kittens grow, they gradually experience people, household sounds, handling, grooming, play and other cats. We also observe how each kitten responds to interaction, changes in environment and unfamiliar people, because kittens of the same breed can still have very different personalities.

Health Records
Vaccinations, deworming, veterinary checks, microchip and other completed records should be handed over according to each kitten's actual dates. At pickup, you should know what has already been done, where it is recorded and what needs to happen next.

Responsible Matching
Breed is only a starting point. Work schedules, home size, children or other pets, the amount of interaction you want and how much grooming you are comfortable with all affect which kitten may suit you. If the right match is not here yet, it is completely fine to wait.

Aftercare
Everyday life really begins after pickup. From our homecoming guide and Mewday records and reminders to Grooming, Cat Hotel, Desex & Stay and aftercare questions, the aim is to make sure you do not have to work out every next step on your own.

When you visit, you can see the kittens' everyday environment and observe their individual personalities and interaction with people. We will introduce suitable options based on your household, and you are welcome to compare before deciding.
